Nominated designer of the year at the Scottish Style Awards 2009.

Bespoke womenswear designer, Judy Clark, produces garments designed using the finest of Scottish wools, Harris Tweed and exclusive hand-dyed Nepali silks to produce one-off wears, embellished with vintage trims and elegant lace. Her designs consist of unique, timeless garments directed at the individual who is captivated by the desire to own beautifully handcrafted bespoke attire.

A number of the garments are created using the finest Harris Tweeds which are sent over from the Hebrides from Judy's great-uncle Donald. Donald produces the hand woven cloth on his loom in Shawbost. Other fabric used includes a selection of hand-dyed vintage Nepali silks and hand carved buttons which Judy brought back from her travels to Nepal.

Judy graduated from Herriot Watt University in 2006 with a first class honours degree in fashion and set up studio at her home in the Highlands of Scotland. She showcased her work at various fashion shows throughout Scotland and England and then undertook an internship with fashion designer Alexander McQueen in London. Returning from her internship she was invited to showcase at the Scottish Style Awards runway show; 'the definitive benchmark of contemporary Scottish Style' alongside some of Scotland's biggest rising fashion stars.

Judy is now based in her studio in Edinburgh and retailing in various boutiques across Scotland.

Recent achievements include showcasing internationally at 'Saks on fifth avenue', New York, 'Dressed to Kilt', New York, and 'Tweed goes to Tokyo Exhibition', Japan.
