Award winning Scottish Designer Judy R Clark is famed for her exquisite womenswear designs which comprise of Harris Tweed, vintage lace and sumptuous silks.
The designer has previously worked for the late Alexander McQueen and her unique skills have seen her work travel around the globe. She has showcased her work on the international stage which includes New York, Tokyo, Russia, Milan, London and numerous platforms around the UK.
The designers work has been backed by Starter for Six, The Princess Scottish Youth Business Trust (PSYBT) and has seen her win the prestigious JOLOMO award for Innovation and Creativity. Judy was nominated at the Scottish Style Awards in 2011 and this year won the award for 'Best New Designer' at The Scottish Variety Awards in March. Very recently Judy was selected by a panel of fashion experts at 'Scotland Re:Designed' to showcase her collections in New York this April. The showcase will appear annually as part of New York's Scotland week celebrations at the heart of NYC's cutting edge fashion and art showrooms.
Most recently Judy has designed and made a bespoke collection for musician Emelie Sande, was commissioned by Ford Motor Company to make a dress using car parts and has been appointed lead designer for new label Spencer Clothing.
